Anish is a fitness and weight loss coach. Growing up in an active household and having played cricket professionally for an extended period of time, he learnt the importance of looking after your body from a young age. He also has had the pleasure and displeasure of experimenting with several diets and workout plans over the years in search of the optimal combination to allow him to play cricket at an elite level.

However, when he stopped playing cricket full time and made the transition to the corporate world, he began struggling to keep the weight off and started experiencing a drop in energy levels. Despite maintaining an active lifestyle by working out 4-5 times a week and keeping an eye on his diet (at least he thought he was), he still felt he was fighting an uphill battle. He began searching for answers as most people do in such a situation. He learnt very quickly how the internet can either become your greatest friend or enemy. The sheer volume of online health pundits/experts/critics, all of whom hold varying opinions, can be overwhelming and discouraging most of the time.

Fortunately, through much research and upskilling, he has condensed the key fundamentals of weight loss for anyone to incorporate into their lives in a simple and sustainable manner.

That being said, weight loss is just a piece of the puzzle in improving one’s heart health. He hopes to be able to provide people with a more holistic view on heart health through the heartly program.
